Amtrak Failed Mesh Computers Again

Well, I waited at home this morning for the Amtrak delivery that the Mesh Customer Services representative informed was arranged for before 9am. Unsurprisingly, it didn’t arrive.
Here is the second email I sent to Mesh.
Having now spent, in total, an estimated hour and a half of my time chasing up the delivery of my order, I cannot afford to spend any more time on hold being told that my call is important to you.
After speaking to one of your customer services assistants yesterday, I was later called back and assured that my problem had been resolved and Amtrak would deliver my order before 9am this morning.
As I am normally in work by 0830 this was a small inconvenience but one I was willing to accept. At five past nine, which is definitely not ‘before nine’ I left for work. The Amtrak delivery had not taken place.
In contrast, the several packages of Christmas presents that I have sent to my family via Royal Mail last week all arrived the next day.
The upshot of this is that one week after placing an order, which I understand you dispatched the next day, I still have not received it.
I have lost faith in ordering from Mesh and, unless you can arrange for delivery to my workplace before the end of the week, I would like a full refund.
I’ve only had one delivery from Amtrack and i wasn’t very impressed. I tried to contact them by telepohne when I missed a parcel and I kept getting an answerphone. I telephoned at different times, and only got through at about 6pm.
I regularly get records sent over from the US, and they usually arrive with UPS or FedEx. I have found them both very good. I think Amtrack are the cheapest service, so I guess you get what you pay for.
Its amazing how courier service differs between companies, I’ve done most of my xmas shopping online this year and have had no problems whatsoever with couriers.
My other half works at a John Lewis call centre and some of the stories he tells about couriers are unbelievable, some are definitely better than others! Hope you get a resolution one way or the other by the end of the week.
I’ve been and bought a TV receiver in the high street. It cost more but it was too late to order on-line now and get it before the Christmas holidays.
I wonder how long it will take for Mesh to refund my money?
