Meal No.4 - Mushroom Bolognese
Jan 30th, 2007 by Jason
I had already started eating by the time I took the photo, but not too much damage had been done, so I thought I would try and remember to capture finished meals. It may be fun to look back on them in six months.
This really was quite an easy one to cook. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any fresh Oregano anywhere so I had to make do with dried.
My advice is to use the best ingredients possible. Although only a simple dish, fresh mushrooms, onion, garlic, spaghetti and parmesan along with good quality tomatos make it very tasty. Add a tasty herb salad and mix up some fresh dressing (note: less mustard in the dressing next time!).
A bottle of wine helped it to go down, and for once the wine was not even started until the meal was almost ready to serve!
