Meal No.5 - Stir Fried Vegetables with Tofu and Egg Fried Rice
Feb 6th, 2007 by Jason
I can’t believe that I’ve been so busy that I haven’t posted since last week! Now that I think about… it was a busy week last week, but in a good way.
So, last night when I got home from work I was of ill humour and in no mood to be creative. After a trip to the off-licence, I returned with some real ales to aid my disposition while cooking, and 3 bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon for the price of 2, er… to aid my disposition after cooking.

Then I played my get out of jail free card, which I had hoped I could hold onto for a bit longer than 5 weeks! That is to say, I cooked a meal that I am already familiar with. One of my favourite meals to eat is smoked tofu, fried in a little Tomari, with some lightly stir fried vegetables on a bed of egg-fried rice. It’s one of my comfort foods (along with toast - a basic necessity for survival.)
