Cookery Challenge Failure
Apr 17th, 2007 by Jason
After only ten unique meals, and only a couple of weeks since my last Tuna Pasta Bake, I made it again this Monday.
It is not evidence of beginning senility, just apathy. I couldn’t be bothered to stretch my imagination to conceive of something new and then wait the extra time it usually takes to cook a meal not practised before. No, I was tired and hungry and I wanted to eat!
And let me say this… I feel no shame!
Where others may have cracked and put a ready-meal in the microwave, or ordered take out, I prepared a home cooked meal with fresh vegetables that fed myself and my partner very well, both last night and again this lunchtime. (Unfortunately there are no ready meals in my freezer!)
