Finally I have a phone. It appeared while I was out of the office, 3 weeks into my new job.
Now it’s here, and I haven’t a clue on how to use it!
It doesn’t ring, it just lights up. I have just downloaded a User Guide and am trying to figure it out.

Yay - I now have BT Broadband at home. The engineer turned up as planned and installed the line, overcoming a fault on the allocated line, leaving me with a functioning phone and broadband line. Well done BT. (Let’s see what they charge me!)

It had not escaped my notice that Orange customer service was extremely poor, but like many people I was just too lazy to change my mobile network. To say lazy may be an understatement as I had been an Orange customer since 1998!
